Who’s Joining Our Ranks? | Rumor Has It…

Missed me, babe? šŸ˜˜

While we all adore our strong, athletic-minded Feliks, the time for good-byes is passed! Let us now look to the future, and who is the future? That’s right, Citizens! It’s the children–particularly the cute little freshies rumored to attend AOA this year. Shall we dive deep into her sound, darlings?

Several names have been thrown around as the speculation surrounding the freshman line-up mounts. Who’s joining our ranks? Well, I’ve learned the best way to get answers is straight from the source! It’s practically common knowledge that Haunters never divulge this kind of information, so I may have already hit a dead-end there. (Or undead-end!) Using my numerous connections, I reached out to the heads of every Hunter and Enchanter group currently in attendance. Here are the names I discovered:

*This freshman is expected to become the head of their respective group.

The above lists are not a complete, comprehensive accumulation of every freshman going to attend for the 2021-2022 academic year–those are just the names I managed to confirm. There were some who claimed no new students were joining from their groups, and others who outright refused to speak to me (looking at you, Rosa), but that’s not the end of it, Citizens! I already told you there were rumors circulating about the newbies. Let’s discuss:

There’s talk among the witch covens that Millicent Ritter, a descendant of Johann Sebastian Bach and the next heir of the Bach Coven, will be attending! Millicent will be the first member of her coven to attend AOA since the early 1900s.

In the equine corner of the Hunter community, I’ve heard a name floating around that hasn’t been spoken in many years: Wang. Yes, you read that right, darlings–a member of the Wang Herd could be joining us! I don’t know about you, but this pterippos is ecstatic to finally have another horse around–and a unicorn at that! If the rumors are true, you can bet your hindquarters I’ll do everything I can to score an interview with them.

Pharom Grerora and Sibyl Chan–who you may have read about in hunky Feliks’ first article–confirmed at graduation that each of their groups would be sending freshmen our way: Alexandrine Amaru of the Amaru Colony and Aerwyna Marvin of the Merfyn Clan! Giants and elves will prevail at the academy!

Even though I did say Haunters tend to keep to themselves, I did reach out to different groups. We all know ghosts, spirits, zombies, mummies, and jinn prefer to remain solitary over joining a horde, so I didn’t even bother. (I’m also still traumatized from that time Rin, the yuki-onna, explained her death to me in detail. NEVER. AGAIN.)

So I tried to squeeze some deets out of the vampires and aswang–no luck. I was about to give up when Omoyeni, our resident psychopomp, revealed that another reaper would be enrolled as a freshman this year! However, when I tried to get the newbie’s name, Omoyeni said I was too nosy and claimed they didn’t have time to “deal with” me. Talk about psycho-pompous!

And that, my beloved readers, should just about cover it. We’re a small school anyhow, so the chances of us receiving new students aside from the aforementioned are slim to none. I want to thank you folks for sticking around to read my crazy antics–from me raving about witch drama, to me speculating over the identity of some vamps. Make sure to show your complete irrevocable adoration for me by liking this post, sharing it to your friends in an effort to announce your devotion to me, and following this blog to stay up-to-date on new articles. A couple of my fellows within the Journalism Club may have a word or two to offer over this next month, but I’m gonna use my break wisely… And by that, I mean I’m going to eat way too much junk food and find something to binge. Comment your suggestions below!

Stay tuned for my return at the end of March, where I plan on discussing the transfer student from the Salem Pack!
